The company recently expanded their operations and services in the region by launching into a partnership with SSD-Tech. SSD-Tech or Systems Solutions & Development Technologies Limited is a USD $65 Million multinational company based in Bangladesh. They gain experience by providing solutions to clients ranging from for telecommunication operators, financial institutions and large enterprises. The company focuses on creating enterprise solutions that would influence business-critical applications for both, top and bottom-line growth.
The partnership agreement was the result of zMessenger’s vision towards expanding to the region. As per the results of their plans, Bangladesh was the most suited location for this. The partnership was sealed via an agreement signed between the two parties with officials from both companies present to witness it at the zMessenger Head Office in Colombo 02.
Providng a bit of background insight on as to why zMessenger embarked on this venture with Bangladesh, zMessenger Co-Founder/CEO, Jayomi Lokuliyana explained how 2017 has been a very ambitious year for zMessenger and that the companies vision extended towards expanding their reach to other parts of the region. She also explained that whilst most Sri Lankan companies look to the West for collaborations but there is potential within close proximity to Sri Lanka itself. After a round of preliminary discussions and follow-ups, they identified SSD-tech as a strong local partner for them to expand their business with.
Commenting on the two-way agreement, SSD-Tech Matin Mahbubul Chairman/CEO explained that they have always considered working with Sri Lanka and were looking to conduct a mutual services exchange. They were then approached by zMessenger and from that point onwards, they did not look back. Sri Lanka is an exciting market with immense potential in the traditional mobile arena and they are confident that in the near future, they can both look forward to working together and achieve a win-win situation that will benefit clients from both countries as well as the region.
